Role overview
The Business Development Representative (BDR) team plays a key role in driving Braze’s future revenue. BDRs identify and support potential customers as they look to improve their engagement strategies. This position offers the chance to build commercial skills and directly influence business growth.
What you will do
- Identify and target prospective accounts
- Develop and execute outreach campaigns by email and phone
- Engage with C-suite executives
- Present Braze’s value proposition
- Qualify initial business opportunities
Day-to-day work involves collaborating with Account Executives on account strategies, running discovery calls, meeting with account leaders, crafting personalized outreach, and attending events to generate leads. Building strong relationships is central to creating new business.
Team and environment
Each BDR has individual performance targets, but the team works together toward shared goals. Collaboration, open communication, and initiative are valued. Team members support each other and have the freedom to shape their own sales success.
The BDR team is based in the Singapore office and follows a hybrid schedule, with at least three days in the office each week. This approach supports learning, connection, and team growth.
