We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quantity Surveyor Manager to lead our tendering process at fuku in Singapore. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire tendering lifecycle, ensuring the timely preparation of pre-qualification, commercial, and technical submissions. Your expertise will help to develop and standardize our tender procedures, pricing formats, and technical data, promoting efficiency and consistency across projects.
Your responsibilities will include reviewing cost estimates, conducting thorough risk assessments, performing price analyses, and implementing value engineering strategies to ensure that our tenders remain competitive and precise. You will be the key figure in coordinating and leading tender meetings, crafting detailed reports, presentations, and recommendations that aid management in their decision-making processes.
As a Quantity Surveyor Manager, you will actively participate in tender interviews and site show rounds, skillfully negotiating with clients until contracts are awarded. You will liaise with a variety of stakeholders including consultants, clients, and project teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on design briefs and tender specifications.
Post-award, you will prepare tender budgets and facilitate project handover and kick-off meetings, ensuring smooth project initiation. Your role will also involve managing tender queries, ensuring timely submissions of clarifications, and monitoring market trends to maintain our competitive edge.
Additionally, you will conduct post-tender and post-contract reviews to derive insights for continuous improvement. Providing mentorship and training to junior staff on tendering procedures and cost control will be key in developing our team's capabilities. Finally, you will nurture strong client relationships and support our business development initiatives, driving growth and repeat business.
