Role overview Wibra in Sluis is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to help guide daily operations and support the Store Manager. This position blends leadership with hands-on work on the shop floor. The Assistant Store Manager works closely with the team to keep the store organized, shelves filled, and customers satisfied. Main responsibilities Support the Store Manager in leading the team and managing store operations Work side by side with colleagues on the shop floor, setting a positive example Help maintain order and keep shelves well-stocked Coach and guide team members during daily tasks Assist with planning and scheduling each day Take charge when the Store Manager is not present Handle administrative tasks as needed Work with the Store Manager on developing the team What a typical day looks like The day often begins with a coffee and a review of the plan. The Assistant Store Manager usually works with one or two colleagues, assigning and coordinating tasks, then joins in on the floor. When new stock arrives, it is placed on the shelves quickly and neatly. Throughout the day, the Assistant Store Manager keeps an eye on the store, making sure it stays tidy and welcoming, even during busy times.
