Join the exciting world of Kia as a Military Veteran Mechanic! We are seeking skilled and experienced military veterans to embark on a fulfilling career as a Kia Certified Service Technician. With the support of Kia America, Inc., this opportunity is part of the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) designed specifically for veterans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair various Kia vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical components.
- Accurately complete repair orders and warranty requests in alignment with established Kia and Retailer protocols.
- Conduct test drives and utilize Kia diagnostic strategies, special equipment, and tools to analyze, diagnose, and repair vehicle components and systems.
- Perform services, diagnostics, and repairs efficiently while maintaining clear communication with the shop foreman and service advisor to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
