As a Children’s Support Worker, you will: • Deliver trauma-informed care to ensure young individuals are safe and supported • Cultivate strong, positive, and trusting relationships • Encourage healthy routines and essential life skills • Support education, prepare meals, and accompany children to appointments • Advocate for their voice — ensuring they feel acknowledged and valued • Transport young individuals to activities or appointments using your own vehicle • Assist them in progressing with hope and confidence What We Seek Experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary) A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Patience, empathy, and emotional resilience Flexibility to work varied shifts (including weekends, sleep-ins, and waking nights) A clear enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) A relevant qualification (such as NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care or similar) is preferred but not mandatory — comprehensive training will be provided.
