Collect patient blood and/or urine specimens according to established protocols. Ensure proper preparation of specimens for testing to maintain integrity. Verify requisitions for urine and blood tests. Confirm patient identity before specimen collection. Label and document specimens for shipping accurately. Maintain daily records of collections performed. Track and request necessary laboratory and office supplies. Provide site-specific training to new team members. Adhere to safety and health standards, including compliance with legal regulations and following Universal Precautions and OSHA standards when handling specimens. Strictly follow HIPAA regulations.
