Job Purpose The Accounting Business Partner (Manager) plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the financial health of our organization. This individual will lead a dynamic team, foster a positive workplace culture, and collaborate closely with the regional finance team. Key responsibilities include analyzing and optimizing cash flow, conducting cost analyses for various business units, and performing financial assessments of client accounts. Reporting directly to the Regional Financial Controller, this role also entails significant interaction with cross-functional teams, including Project Managers and Operations personnel. Duties and Responsibilities Oversee group financial reporting, including the timely closing of books and preparation of monthly Management Reports, ensuring compliance with IFRS and other applicable accounting standards. Conduct monthly reviews of financial results and implement variance reporting against budget. Manage and maintain General Ledger accounts and cost elements within the Group Chart of Accounts and Profit and Cost Centers structure. Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to secure personnel and financial information. Ensure adherence to accounting, taxation, and risk management protocols in line with current public standards and effective internal control systems. Coordinate the annual statutory audit for the Group and its subsidiaries. Create financial management frameworks aimed at minimizing financial risks. Perform any additional ad-hoc duties as assigned. Qualifications Include: Must be a Philippine National. A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Minimum of 6 years of experience in Accounts/Finance, including comprehensive involvement with full sets of accounts. 2-4 years of professional accounting experience with a Big Four accounting firm is advantageous. CPA certification is a significant plus, though not mandatory. In-depth knowledge of finance, full accounting sets, budgeting/forecasting, tax matters, and internal control principles. Strong analytical skills to assess financial data and compile comprehensive reports.
