Role Overview: Assistant IT Manager (D365 Specialist) This position centers on supporting and improving manufacturing operations through digital transformation. The Assistant IT Manager will work closely with production teams, leading IT projects that use Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), Microsoft Power Apps, and related technologies. The role involves requirement gathering, vendor coordination, project management, and supporting all stages from planning through post-launch enhancements. Location: Tai Po, with free shuttle service provided. Key Responsibilities Project Delivery & Governance Oversee manufacturing system and process improvement projects from start to rollout. Manage stakeholders, project scope, dependencies, schedules, and communications. Update management on progress, risks, issues, and next steps regularly. Prepare project documentation and presentations for reviews and decision-making. Business Analysis & Solution Design Work with production and operations teams to identify and document current processes and improvement areas. Capture requirements clearly, including process flows, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Translate business needs into workable solutions with internal IT and vendors (D365 F&O, Power Apps, and others). Build, Support, Testing & Release Assist with system changes, basic configuration, and data maintenance. Plan and run User Acceptance Testing (UAT): draft test cases, manage execution, track issues, and confirm resolutions. Coordinate go-live activities, user communication, training, and hypercare support. Monitor applications after launch and drive ongoing improvements with users and vendors.
