Join TBC Bank as the Digital Banking Development Tribe Tech Lead, where you will be instrumental in shaping and executing the technological vision and strategy for our Digital Banking Development Tribe. You will collaborate closely with the Tribe Lead to cultivate an environment that empowers teams to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions efficiently, all while aligning with our business objectives. Your leadership will drive technical excellence, mentor teams, and ensure the stability and scalability of our digital banking platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement the technology strategy for the tribe, ensuring it aligns with both business objectives and TBC Bank's overarching tech vision.
- Lead the delivery of sustainable, high-quality software solutions while enforcing best practices in software development lifecycle (SDLC), architecture, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Manage incident and problem resolution efficiently to ensure continuous improvement.
- Mentor and support teams and Product Tech Leads, promoting knowledge sharing and ongoing feedback.
- Guide the development of high-level technical solutions, manage dependencies, assess risks, and ensure technical feasibility.
- Actively participate in the Tech Leads Guild and engage in cross-tribe technology initiatives.
- Work with stakeholders including Tribe Lead, Product Owners, Area Leads, and Domain Experts to ensure a shared understanding of the vision, goals, and priorities.
- Effectively communicate the tribe’s technology strategy both internally and externally.
Coverage Areas
- SDLC: Ensure timely and impactful deliveries, support release planning, and foster iterative delivery processes.
- Architecture: Highlight technical debt and ensure its management within product backlogs.
- Incident & Problem Management: Uphold service and system stability and quality.
- Technology Fitness: Monitor and enhance the technical health of products.
- CI/CD: Advocate for high standards in architecture, tooling, and competencies to facilitate continuous integration and delivery.

- Achievement of tribe and Center of Excellence (CoE) KPIs/OKRs.
- Speed and quality of delivery within the tribe.
