You will act as the editorial voice of Adyen in the local market, reporting directly to the Team Lead of Marketing in Japan.This role demands a combination of journalistic curiosity and a commercial mindset. You will not only develop content strategies but will also engage in the hands-on creation of impactful content—from technical white papers to compelling social media posts. You will blend creativity with data to ensure every piece of content drives brand awareness and lead generation.Key Responsibilities:Local Content Strategy: Develop and oversee the content marketing strategy for Japan, aligning it with local business objectives, marketing campaigns, and brand standards in collaboration with the country marketing manager, digital marketing manager, and localization specialist.Editorial Calendar Management: Spearhead the planning and execution of the Japan content calendar. Conduct research on audience insights, industry trends, and regulatory changes to curate a roadmap of relevant and newsworthy topics.Hands-on Creation: Craft, edit, and refine content across various formats, including customer success stories, blog posts, data reports, white papers, event materials, ad copy, email nurturing flows, and social media content.Commercial Alignment: Produce content with a strong commercial focus, collaborating with Sales and Account Management to create sales enablement materials such as brochures and decks to support deal closures.Global to Local Translation: Work with the Regional Studio team and Global Marketing to adapt global campaigns for the Japanese market, ensuring that the Adyen voice resonates locally while maintaining its global essence.Project Management: Manage projects from concept to execution, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
