Your role will require consultation and cooperation with both internal and external stakeholders, including legal teams, producers, and our Japanese production partners.Core Areas of ResponsibilityNegotiate and finalize complex development and production agreements, including consortium agreements, music clearance, co-productions, and merchandising licenses with Japanese partners.Draft and negotiate contracts in both Japanese and English.Communicate financial terms, contractual risks, and obligations to various internal departments regarding newly acquired or produced content, including Content, Legal, Finance, Marketing, Licensing, and Programming.Maintain an organized record of deal terms and update negotiation statuses in internal tracking systems.Provide general business counsel and support in a constantly evolving business landscape.About YouWe are excited to hear from candidates who possess:10+ years of experience in licensing, production, and business affairs within the Japanese entertainment industry.8+ years of people management experience.Strong negotiation skills and the ability to draft contracts in both Japanese and English.Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
