Your Mission:
As a Senior R&D Process Engineer at ASM, you will leverage your expertise in semiconductor processing and analytical equipment to research, develop, and optimize processes focused on oxidation, annealing, curing, Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD, PEALD), Epitaxy, or PECVD for a range of applications including logic, memory, analog, power, and MEMS. You will design and execute complex experiments, analyze intricate experimental outputs, and deliver innovative solutions. Additionally, contributing to technical publications and generating Intellectual Property (IP) will be essential aspects of your role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new films for emerging applications, applying expertise in chemistry and materials characterization.
- Utilize semiconductor processing equipment to enhance unit processes for the deposition of metal and dielectric films via PEALD.
- Stay informed on the latest advancements in semiconductor processing to drive innovation.
- Consult on advanced process applications and contribute to technical publications and IP generation.
- Facilitate technical problem-solving sessions using scientific methodologies and industry tools such as Ishikawa diagrams.
- Design and conduct experiments, measuring and interpreting results to meet defined objectives using Design of Experiments (DOE) and Response Surface Methodology (RSM).
- Troubleshoot equipment issues through hands-on engagement.
- Collaborate with customers and marketing teams to identify and define requirements for successful execution of projects.
