Qualifications
What You’ll Do:
Engage with large State, Local, and Education organizations while executing an effective sales strategy.
Build and maintain detailed relationship maps for your territory, identifying existing connections and aspirational contacts.
Develop a profound understanding of each customer's business landscape.
Negotiate advantageous pricing and business terms with large SLED enterprises, emphasizing value and return on investment.
Manage existing customer expectations while deepening engagement within your assigned territory.
Show ingenuity when confronted with challenges that require innovative solutions.
Possess an intuitive sense of the necessary steps to secure business and gain customer validation.
Identify a comprehensive set of value drivers behind every opportunity.
Ensure precise forecasting accuracy and reliability.
Who You Are:
You have 5+ years of experience in closing sales (with a mix of field selling within the assigned SLED region).
You possess 2-3+ years of SLED/Government sales experience.
You are driven and have consistently met or exceeded direct sales goals exceeding $1M, managing an average deal size of $100K+
You can demonstrate a systematic approach to prospecting and building a pipeline independently.
You have experience working in an innovative tech company (preferably SaaS, IT infrastructure, or similar).
You have a successful track record of selling to large SLED organizations and the capacity to win over clients.
