The ideal candidate will possess the expertise to assess and repair vehicles in a damaged state, restoring them to their original structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. This role demands a detail-oriented individual capable of multitasking and adapting to changing priorities.Key Responsibilities:Analyze damage reports and repair cost estimates to strategize the necessary work.Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle exterior and interior, ensuring all components, including power accessories and dashboard warning lights, are functioning correctly.Perform comprehensive structural and body repairs: This includes repairing or replacing front-end components, body parts, doors, and underbody components.Utilize frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment to straighten bent frames, and employ hand tools to address dents and defects.Expertly weld using MIG welders and compression spot welders.Dismantle damaged areas of vehicles to uncover hidden damages early in the repair process.Prepare surfaces for painting by masking and taping, applying primers, and repainting as needed.Use soldering equipment or plastic fillers to repair holes, dents, and seams.Ensure vehicles are restored to factory specifications and conduct inspections and test drives for quality assurance.Read and comprehend estimates and automotive repair procedures, demonstrating proficiency with various materials including metals, plastics, glass, and electrical components.
