Job Overview:
The Collision Center Manager will oversee all operations within the autobody repair facility, ensuring a seamless and efficient repair process. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge in autobody repair, strong leadership capabilities, and exceptional customer service skills. The successful candidate will ensure repairs are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining outstanding customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership:
- Direct and mentor a diverse team of autobody technicians, painters, estimators, and administrative personnel.
- Provide ongoing training, support, and guidance to ensure optimal performance from all team members.
- Cultivate a positive and collaborative workplace culture that promotes teamwork and professional development.
2. Operational Management:
- Schedule and coordinate repair jobs to maximize workflow efficiency and ensure timely completion.
- Allocate resources, including staffing, equipment, and materials, in alignment with operational priorities.
- Monitor job progress, proactively addressing any delays or challenges to keep projects on schedule.
3. Quality Assurance:
- Develop and implement quality control measures to guarantee that all repairs meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
- Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to verify quality and correct any deficiencies identified.
- Collaborate closely with technicians to resolve technical issues and share best practices.
4. Customer Engagement:
- Engage with customers to assess their repair requirements, provide accurate estimates, and address any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain clear communication with clients throughout the repair process, keeping them informed of progress and any changes to the schedule or scope of work.
- Professionally resolve customer complaints or issues to achieve high levels of satisfaction.
5. Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory levels of parts and supplies essential for autobody repairs.
- Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Monitor inventory and reorder supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
