As the Restaurant Floor Manager at Eataly Yorkville, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Restaurant Assistant General Manager (AGM) with the daily operations of our vibrant full-service restaurants. Reporting directly to the Restaurant AGM, you will be responsible for overseeing the front-of-house staff, which includes servers, bartenders, food runners, hosts, bussers, and barbacks.
- Assist the Restaurant AGM with recruitment, task delegation, employee training, performance reviews, and dismissals.
- Document, investigate, escalate, and resolve incidents involving employees and guests to ensure a harmonious dining experience.
- Guarantee that exceptional service standards are consistently upheld, ensuring all activities are executed efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections of the dining area and storage facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Forecast front-of-house food and beverage requirements and supervise intake orders to align with specifications.
- Analyze financial data including sales, inventory, and costs to maintain budgetary control.
- Collaborate with dining room and bar staff to strategize restaurant activities, special events, and information sharing.
- Perform additional duties as required or assigned.
