Join us on this transformative adventure, where your contributions will help shape the future of technology and manufacturing.Job PurposeThe Metrology Engineer is responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing inspection programs and templates utilizing PC-DMIS, ZEISS Inspect, and PolyWorks for CMMs, portable arms, and GOM/ATOS optical systems. This role involves not only the development of efficient and robust programs but also conducting hands-on inspections, operating advanced metrology equipment, and assisting technicians with reporting and data validation as required.As a technical resource and collaborative leader, the Metrology Engineer guarantees inspection precision, promotes standardization, manages programming priorities, and enhances team capabilities. With deep expertise and disciplined execution, this position ensures accurate and compliant measurement results that meet engineering specifications and enhance production quality.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, update, and maintain metrology programs/templates across CMMs, portable arms, and optical systems to ensure consistency and efficiency.Conduct dimensional inspections using CMMs, portable arms, GOM/ATOS, and traditional tools to validate parts against CAD and engineering standards.Interpret and apply engineering documentation, including 2D drawings, 3D models, GD&T, and related specifications.
