Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with department leaders to identify the IT system's role in organizational success.
· Explore emerging technologies to assess their potential to improve organizational effectiveness.
· Analyze costs and benefits, aiding management in making informed decisions regarding system upgrades.
· Innovate by enhancing existing computer systems with new functionalities.
· Design and implement new systems, selecting and configuring appropriate hardware and software.
· Oversee the installation and configuration of new systems tailored to organizational needs.
· Conduct thorough testing to ensure systems perform as intended.
· Manage and maintain the IBMi power systems platform, including database systems.
· Train end users on system functionalities and prepare user manuals.
· Respond promptly to trouble tickets and provide technical support for both local and remote users.
· Foster strong relationships across departments to facilitate communication and knowledge sharing.
