Work Location: Piossasco (TO)Who Will You Collaborate With?Join the dynamic Product Line “Brakes Quality” team, where you will work closely with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Manufacturing, and Project Management.Your Impact:As a Senior Product Quality Engineer – Electronics, you will be pivotal in guaranteeing the robustness, reliability, and safety of electronic systems utilized in railway braking applications. Your expertise will be critical in identifying failure mechanisms, recommending corrective actions, and validating technical solutions.What a Typical Day Looks Like:Conduct advanced troubleshooting of electronic hardware and embedded software failures within braking and safety systems.Analyze field returns, test-bench results, and laboratory findings to identify and characterize hardware and software issues.Lead and document root cause analyses, defining corrective and preventive actions to mitigate systemic issues.Work collaboratively with hardware, software, and system engineering teams to assist in debugging, product improvements, and design optimizations.Perform diagnostic tests using bench setups, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments, and stress-testing equipment.Ensure adherence to railway functional safety and certification standards by providing comprehensive technical documentation and evidence for audits.Compile detailed technical reports and facilitate knowledge transfer to production, quality assurance, and field service teams.Engage with key stakeholders, including Product Managers, Quality leadership, Engineering, and Project teams, to convey findings, recommendations, and project progress.Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent experience.Over 10 years of experience in electronic engineering, with a strong focus on diagnostics, troubleshooting, and systems analysis.Proficient in equipping test benches, designing test circuits, and programming in C++.Experience with test instrumentation, including oscilloscopes and testers.Fluent in English and Italian.Familiarity with structured methodologies such as 8D, FMEA, and fault tree analysis is a plus.Knowledge of railway safety and compliance standards (EN 50126 / EN 50128 / EN 50129) is advantageous.Willingness to travel internationally as required.
