Oversee the seamless operation and upkeep of all engineering systems and building facilities within the hotel premises.
Direct daily maintenance operations concerning electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical devices, and overall building infrastructure.
Guarantee the optimal functionality of all hotel equipment, including air-conditioning units, boilers, chillers, pumps, generators, kitchen appliances, and elevators.
Implement preventive maintenance initiatives to reduce breakdowns and ensure uninterrupted service for guests and hotel activities.
Supervise utility systems, such as electricity, water supply, gas lines, and sewage systems to ensure proper functioning.
Conduct regular inspections of plant rooms, guest accommodations, public spaces, and service areas to determine maintenance needs.
Keep accurate records of maintenance tasks, equipment history, and engineering documentation.
Adhere to safety regulations, fire safety standards, and local statutory requirements relevant to the hospitality sector.
Assist in executing energy conservation initiatives and track energy usage throughout the property.
Support the Chief Engineer or Engineering Manager in organizing maintenance schedules and engineering projects.
Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, service, and installation tasks.
Guide and mentor technicians and maintenance personnel to ensure high-quality work and timely task execution.
Respond swiftly to guest maintenance requests, ensuring prompt resolution to maintain guest satisfaction.
Ensure the proper functioning of fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and backup power systems such as generators.
Maintain cleanliness and safety in engineering workspaces, plant rooms, and workshops.
