Since our inception in 2009, the landscape of commerce has transformed significantly, and so has Square. We began by empowering anyone to process payments seamlessly, but soon recognized that many sellers were hindered by outdated, disjointed tools that failed to integrate effectively.
In response, we expanded into software, developing integrated, omnichannel solutions designed to assist sellers in selling online, managing inventory, offering buy now, pay later options, booking appointments, engaging loyal customers, and hiring and compensating staff. Our financial services are embedded at the point of sale, enabling merchants to access loans and manage cash flow all in one platform. Afterpay enhances our commitment to providing omnichannel tools that deliver significant value and growth, allowing sellers to capture the next generation of shoppers, increase order sizes, and compete on a larger scale.
Today, we partner with sellers of all sizes, from large, enterprise-scale businesses with complex operations to small merchants just starting out, as well as those who have grown with Square over time.
