Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer I to enhance product design and innovate new solutions in the field of mechanical engineering. This position is pivotal in executing design controls and developing effective mechanical product release solutions.Key Responsibilities:1. Design and improve disposable products for bioprocessing applications.2. Adhere to engineering standards while writing design verification/validation plans, conducting testing, and compiling reports.3. Collaborate with a technical team to deliver innovative solutions.4. Engage with cross-functional teams and technical leadership to ensure specifications are met.5. Seek mentorship for skill enhancement and problem-solving.6. Lead design visualization initiatives utilizing 3D CAD models to evaluate design alternatives.7. Develop engineering concepts for components and systems that comply with stringent regulatory standards, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.8. Participate in all stages of product redesign and development, from concept through to manufacturing introduction.9. Analyze product reliability through FMEA, risk management, and DFR methodologies.10. Create innovative designs that fulfill performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability requirements.11. Continuously develop and maintain job-related competencies.
