What You’ll DoIn this dynamic, site-based position, you will:Acquire extensive expertise in process gas testing, customer specifications, and industry standardsAchieve full proficiency in SGS GAS protocols, testing norms, and analytical techniquesTravel to client locations to perform gas analysis testing and collect samples for laboratory evaluationService, troubleshoot, and calibrate gas analysis apparatusOffer technical support and direction to clientsCompile precise, high-quality testing and service reportsAdhere to SGS data integrity policies while maintaining ISO 17025 and client requirementsFacilitate continuous improvement by identifying underlying issues and contributing to quality documentationExhibit a positive, proactive demeanor that aligns with SGS values and corporate culture(This is not a definitive list of duties.)

What You’ll Be DoingAs a Project Engineer at SGS, you will:Lead and execute gas testing and instrumentation projects for SGS affiliates and clients globally.Oversee all facets of project delivery, including:Formulating project plans tailored to customer requirements.Planning necessary equipment and resources.Managing logistics efficiently.Fostering robust customer relationships and maintaining CRM updates.Assist the AST Manager with project management and operational duties.Provide technical support across all SGS GAS departments.Engage in instrumentation projects encompassing design, construction, and installation as needed.Acquire in-depth knowledge of relevant testing specifications and methodologies.Ensure adherence to the quality standards set by SGS GAS and our clientele.Comply with all safety regulations pertaining to SGS GAS and our clients, consistently acting in accordance with our policies and procedures.Demonstrate flexibility in responding to global customer demands, occasionally at short notice, while maintaining a customer-centric approach to deliver the highest level of service.
