- Take the lead in designing, developing, and engineering the release of structural chassis cradle components and assemblies, ensuring they meet system-level functional objectives.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of component and system delivery, from initial concept through to vehicle launch, while ensuring compliance with program timelines.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including NVH, Vehicle Integration, Stress Lab, and CAE, to meet validation, testing, and performance requirements.
- Manage component design activities, encompassing DFMEA, CAE analysis, and vehicle packaging to guarantee robust and efficient designs.
- Ensure the integrity of models and drawings, maintaining accuracy and compliance with engineering standards.
- Supervise component validation processes, including the development and execution of DVP&R plans.
- Handle engineering changes and documentation, including Change Notices (CN) and Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM/CODEP).
- Provide support during build and launch phases for assembly and supplier plants, ensuring a seamless production ramp-up.
- Facilitate problem resolution using structured problem-solving methodologies and tracking systems (e.g., GIMs).
- Develop and validate fastening strategies, including fastener selection and assembly torque specifications.
