Job Summary
We are in search of a dedicated and empathetic Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our exceptional team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive care to patients suffering from heart-related illnesses. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including physical exams, medical histories, and diagnostic tests.
- Work closely with cardiologists to devise and implement treatment strategies for patients with cardiovascular issues.
- Administer medications, observe patient responses, and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Perform cardiac stress tests, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and other essential diagnostic procedures.
- Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular health, preventive strategies, and the significance of medication adherence.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
- Maintain knowledge of CMS Regulations and NCQA HEDIS Guidelines.
- Ensure accurate documentation of medical records to comply with OSHA and governmental regulations while adhering to site quality and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
- Analyze and organize care for critically complex patients.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a clinical setting.
