Job Summary:
Panelmatic is on the lookout for a meticulous and experienced CAD Drafter. This professional will utilize CAD software to create, modify, and enhance detailed 2D and 3D drawings and designs for electrical equipment manufacturing, tailored to client specifications.
Job Duties:
- Create engineering drawings using AutoCAD for electrical builds, modifications, and custom projects based on client specifications.
- Manage and prioritize assigned tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Uphold the company’s CAD standards and templates.
- Gain knowledge of electrical equipment and client-specific requirements.
- Understand panel and component design by reviewing client-specific standards and cut sheets.
- Learn wire sizing and design principles according to client standards and NEC guidelines.
- Analyze existing blueprints, construction drawings, and plans.
- Consistently produce accurate drawings in a timely manner.
- Independently complete CAD drawings efficiently.
- Familiarize yourself with construction and design methods and best practices.
- Evaluate designs for constructability.
- Estimate material requirements and generate bills of materials for design products.
