Our extensive client base includes hospitals, courts, solicitors, councils, probation services, police, and many others. We pride ourselves on providing a diverse array of linguistic services in all languages and dialects.
As an employment business, we are currently seeking dedicated and qualified Face-to-Face Interpreters based in Bath and neighboring regions.
Coverage Areas: Bath, Radstock, Shepton Mallet, Wells, Glastonbury, Castle Cary, Templecombe, Wincanton, Bruton, Frome, Warminster, Westbury, Trowbridge, Bradford-On-Avon, Street, Yeovil
Our interpreters play a crucial role in facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages. If you are proficient in one or more foreign languages and seek a rewarding opportunity in fields such as politics, business, or public service, we encourage you to apply.
Interpreting requires active listening, comprehension, and the ability to retain information in the original language before accurately conveying it in a target language. This may involve one-way or two-way communication, often focusing on the interpreter's native language.
Settings for Interpreters include:
- Business events such as meetings, conferences, exhibitions, and product launches;
- Criminal justice proceedings (public service interpreting), including police interviews, probation services, and court hearings;
- Solicitor interviews, arbitration hearings, and immigration tribunals;
- Community events and assignments across the education, health, and social services sectors.
Qualifications Required:
- Age 21 or over
- Possession of a DPSI, Community Interpreting qualification, or any relevant interpreting qualification
- All interpreters must either hold a DBS or be willing to apply for one
- Eligibility to work in the UK
