Role Overview

As a Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for a diverse range of maintenance and repair tasks. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, functional, and efficient workspace. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable across various trades, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct general repairs and troubleshooting for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
  • Implement preventative maintenance to enhance equipment longevity and reliability.
  • Operate and care for tools and equipment, including power tools and diagnostic devices.
  • Install and repair locking systems and door hardware.
  • Perform basic electrical work, such as replacing outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
  • Handle plumbing tasks, including unclogging drains, fixing leaks, and replacing fixtures.
  • Interpret building systems and blueprints to facilitate maintenance tasks.
  • Keep accurate logs and updates in maintenance management systems.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and OSHA regulations during all tasks.
  • Travel between multiple sites as required.
