Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Factory Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Taiwan. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations at our L10 contract manufacturer. Your primary objective will be to ensure the alignment of materials, processes, and personnel to meet production schedules, yield, and quality standards.

As the execution lead, you will drive build readiness, identify and manage bottlenecks, escalate issues when necessary, and maintain real-time visibility into factory performance. This hands-on position is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic, high-volume production environments and enjoy collaborating closely with contract manufacturing teams to achieve outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities

Process Development & Optimization

  • Design and implement effective processes to convert raw materials into high-quality finished products.

  • Create and refine assembly instructions, tooling, jigs, and fixtures to ensure product consistency and quality.

  • Continuously improve manufacturing processes to minimize cycle times, waste, and costs using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

Equipment & Tooling

  • Select, design, or modify production equipment and machinery to optimize performance.

  • Ensure that all machinery is configured for maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.

  • Maintain and enhance tooling to uphold strict tolerances and high-quality output.

Quality & Reliability

  • Collaborate closely with quality engineers to track defect rates and investigate root causes of failures.

  • Implement error-proofing techniques to enhance product reliability.

  • Validate processes to ensure compliance with product specifications and quality standards.
