Key Responsibilities:
Presenting InterSystems products and services to the U. S. Department of Defense.
Developing sales strategies to drive new business within targeted divisions of the Department.
Focusing primarily on non-healthcare programs with secondary attention to healthcare-related opportunities.
Meeting and exceeding sales targets and quotas.
Collaborating with key stakeholders to influence the design of upcoming RFx processes.
Building partnerships with Systems Integrators to ensure InterSystems technology is included in proposals.
Working alongside Sales Engineers and other departments to prepare comprehensive sales proposals, including RFx responses.
Serving as the main point of contact between InterSystems, prime contractors, and client accounts; enhancing business relationships through exceptional service.
Addressing concerns raised by current customers and integrators effectively.
Providing valuable customer feedback on product performance and contributing to product development efforts.
Representing InterSystems at sales conferences to showcase our products and services.
Generating new business revenues while maintaining and growing the existing customer base.

As a Federal Account Manager focusing on the Department of Defense (DOD), you will be at the forefront of managing all facets of prospective and existing accounts. Your role will involve generating sales revenue while fostering productive and profitable relationships with customers and Systems Integrators.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in selling technology to government accounts or collaborating with Systems Integrators that serve such markets. Experience with operational systems, data platforms, or enterprise software, particularly within the regulatory frameworks governing the federal landscape, is essential. Familiarity with the Federal procurement process, including contracting vehicles, and the nuances of prime and subcontractor relationships, is also crucial.
