EducationBachelor’s degree in Applied Science, Engineering, or a related field. ExperienceProven experience in construction within the Gas/Petrochemical EPC Plant sector. Mandatory experience in Cost and Schedule Management. Preferred background as a Field Control Coordinator with experience in cost, schedule, and contract management. Experience with EPC contracts is highly desirable. Familiarity with various sites in the Middle East region. Knowledge and SkillsStrong knowledge of construction management principles, including cost forecasting and risk mitigation. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Understanding of legal and safety standards in construction. Insight into the unique challenges and cost/schedule/risk factors associated with oil, gas, petrochemical, or power plant construction. Proficient in using project management tools and software.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Control Engineer to support the Field Control Manager in overseeing construction activities at our project site. This role requires expertise in designing and implementing effective construction control management strategies, including planning, scheduling, and cost estimation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and supervising resource allocation and project budgets.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of cost, schedule, and contract activities to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate scoping requirements for accurate cost estimates across various disciplines.
  • Forecast project performance and assist in the development of construction status reports and final cost evaluations.
  • Engage in construction cost management and assess investment factors.
  • Prepare or review estimates for indirect costs related to temporary facilities, construction services, tools, and equipment.
  • Facilitate meetings with relevant departments and subcontractors.
  • Support the implementation of field control procedures and workflows.
  • Review subcontractor project control requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Monitor and maintain overall construction progress while strategizing to minimize costs.
  • Guide construction personnel and track material and equipment utilization against monthly plans.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential disputes and claims in construction.
  • Maintain comprehensive construction documentation and records.
