We are looking for a dependable, safety-oriented, and technologically adept Field Data Collection Driver to contribute to a precision mapping project for our client’s digital mapping initiative. In this position, you will drive a company-provided vehicle outfitted with a specialized 360-degree camera system to capture street-level visuals. These visuals are integral to supporting global geospatial technology platforms and mapping services, enhancing maps and navigation solutions worldwide.
No prior mapping experience is necessary – comprehensive training and technical assistance will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a vehicle equipped with advanced camera systems to capture 360-degree imagery.
- Adhere to pre-defined driving routes provided daily.
- Upload collected data from onboard devices after each shift.
- Conduct routine equipment checks to ensure optimal functionality.
- Communicate effectively with the technical support team regarding any issues or updates.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while representing the program in public spaces.

Additional Details
All necessary equipment, vehicles, and training will be provided.
Candidates must successfully pass a background check, adhere to routine safety screenings, and complete the onboarding training process.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility based on weather and route completion.
Willingness to drive for up to 8 hours/day on public roads, occasionally covering longer distances.
Secure parking access (preferably with CCTV) for the company vehicle is preferred , assistance may be offered for qualifying candidates.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience (5+ years preferred).
- A clean driving record with no major violations in the past three years.
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in using mobile applications or in-vehicle technology.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs (10-15 kg) and perform basic physical tasks related to equipment setup.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in field data collection, delivery driving, or GIS-related roles.
- Familiarity with geospatial tools or interest in mapping technology.
