Your Role:
Become an integral part of Rentokil Rural as you engage in extensive plant pest management across New Zealand's breathtaking and remote terrains. Your responsibilities will encompass wilding pine eradication, invasive weed management, restoration initiatives, and trail maintenance, utilizing diverse techniques such as manual, mechanical, chemical, aerial, and drone methods to safeguard native flora and vulnerable ecosystems.

Location:
You will be based in Pleasant Point, with our team traveling throughout the South Island to execute plant pest projects in secluded areas. Accommodation and meals will be provided during Monday to Friday assignments, allowing you to gain practical experience while exploring the incredible scenery of New Zealand.

What We Seek:
- Physically fit, capable of carrying heavy loads across rugged terrain
- Enjoys outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Willingness to travel and stay away from home Monday to Friday
- Strong communication skills with a commitment to health and safety
- Reliable, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn
- Excellent time management and self-motivation
- Must be eligible to work full-time in New Zealand
- Possession of a full or restricted New Zealand driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Able to operate off-road vehicles safely
Preferred Qualifications (but not mandatory):
- Prior experience or qualifications in pest plant control
- First Aid Certification
- ATV, LUV, or 4WD certifications
- GrowSafe certification
- Chainsaw operation - NZQA unit standards or equivalent
