Position: Field Service Technician – Level 1, 2, or 3

Role Overview:

We offer comprehensive training on our specialized equipment and commissioning processes in Ashburn, VA, lasting approximately four weeks. In this role, you will engage in hands-on field service activities at customer locations, focusing on the installation of components and subassemblies, as well as performing basic commissioning of IEM equipment primarily within data center or industrial environments. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in project meetings and coordinating with contractors and clients as necessary.
  • Installing and modifying electrical or mechanical components and subassemblies, including panelboard interiors, circuit breakers, bus bars, switchgear section doors, and control components.
  • Conducting basic testing of modified assemblies (visual, ductor, etc.).
  • Executing basic commissioning of switchboards, control panels, and power products.
  • Troubleshooting electrical circuits and networking equipment.
  • Collaborating with the Technical Project Manager or manufacturing facilities to resolve product or commissioning issues reported by customers in the field.
  • Performing preventive maintenance and modifications to existing equipment as required.
  • Providing technical product support.
