We are seeking a dynamic Finance Analyst to be the strategic partner to our Director of Finance & People. This role is a blend of finance operations and innovative building, allowing you to work closely with leadership, including our founders. You will be instrumental in streamlining financial processes, enhancing reporting capabilities, and driving automation initiatives. Consider this position as a mini-COO role within Finance, offering high levels of ownership, direct access to leadership, and the opportunity to shape our financial landscape from the ground up.
Your Impact
Strategic Collaboration: Act as a force multiplier for the Director, preparing decision briefs and leading cross-functional initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Finance function.
Finance Operations & Accounting: Take ownership of essential financial processes including monthly, quarterly, and annual close, ensuring seamless coordination with external auditors and maintaining the integrity of financial reporting.
Controlling & Financial Planning: Lead operational controlling tasks such as budgeting, financial forecasting, and liquidity management. Deliver insightful monthly reports and conduct in-depth analyses to guide growth and investment strategies.
AI & Automation: Identify and implement opportunities for automating finance workflows utilizing AI tools and low-code platforms, transitioning from static reporting to dynamic financial insights.
Strategic Finance & Capital Allocation: Support the management team with financial modeling for growth initiatives and act as a trusted advisor on key business decisions.
Cross-Functional Liaison: Build and maintain relationships with tax advisors, auditors, and legal service providers across various jurisdictions, serving as a key connection between Finance, People, and other departments like Growth and Engineering.
Future-Ready Finance: Contribute to establishing a digital finance infrastructure that includes intelligent dashboards, predictive KPIs, and a scalable ERP and treasury architecture to support Knowunity's growth.
Your Background
Experience: 1–3 years in finance, preferably gained from a Big 4 advisory firm, a high-growth startup, or a similar environment.
