Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and distribute the weekly cash position report to the relevant members of the Accounting & Finance and Commercial teams.
- Compile necessary documentation for treasury-related updates within the organization.
- Coordinate with banking institutions on treasury-related matters affecting company transactions.
- Oversee the processing of bank transfers, payments, and other banking transactions for the company.
- Monitor the disposal, adjustments, write-offs, and related issues pertaining to the company's fixed assets.
- Perform general accounting tasks, including bookkeeping and bank reconciliations.
- Collaborate with the Accounts Payable (AP) team to confirm payables for approval.
- Assist the Finance team in tracking accruals.
- Work with the Finance team to validate items in bank reconciliations.
- Engage with other departments for month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare and reconcile the Balance Sheet reconciliation schedule.
- Review, reconcile, and make necessary adjustments for bank reconciliations, accruals, fixed assets, and other adjustments required for month-end and year-end closing.
- Gather and organize documents related to assigned tasks.
- Prepare schedules and respond to inquiries related to quarterly and year-end audits.
- Submit and upload schedules and documentation for quarterly and year-end audits to the EY Portal.
- Prepare adjusting entries for quarterly and year-end audits.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures while executing assigned tasks.
- Carry out any ad hoc duties as directed by the Senior Accounting Manager.
