Finance Assistant Manager - Venues
Join mdlbeast as a Finance Assistant Manager and play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of our venues. We are looking for a committed and detail-oriented finance professional to oversee a variety of financial responsibilities essential for the seamless functioning of our venues.
Lead daily and weekly revenue assurance processes, including POS reconciliation, cash/card settlement matching, monitoring voids and discounts, and ensuring sales-to-bank controls.
Manage inventory and COGS governance, including stock movement oversight, conducting stock counts, implementing wastage controls, and investigating variances.
Develop and maintain cost structures for venues by providing menu and recipe costing support while tracking contribution margins by product and category.
Oversee transfer pricing and intercompany recharges, ensuring precise documentation, adherence to policies, and timely reconciliations to facilitate group consolidation.
Assist the finance team with monthly and year-end closing processes, preparing and reviewing journals, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting schedules.
Champion cost optimization initiatives, including tracking supplier price variances, reducing wastage, enforcing portion control, and minimizing operational leakage.
Prepare performance analysis packs for venue leadership, evaluating sales mix, margins, labor, overheads, and offering actionable insights.
Enhance working capital management across venues through vendor reconciliations, payment scheduling, and procurement controls.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and audit requirements, maintaining documentation standards and coordinating audit processes.
