Role: Finance Manager (Audit)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

 

About the role:

The Finance Manager (Audit) will report directly to the Financial Controller, playing a critical role in supporting and monitoring statutory compliance, communicating risk policies and processes, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of monthly, quarterly, and annual account closures across the APAC region.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and finalization of both Group and local audits in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with accounting and taxation regulations within designated deadlines.
  • Act as the primary liaison with Group auditors and the Group Finance team to meet audit deliverables.
  • Prepare reconciliations of management results to audited accounts, providing clear explanations of reconciling transactions.
  • Review and implement compliance with the latest accounting standards in consultation with the Group Finance team, assisting in the preparation of financial statements and developing appropriate disclosures.
  • Monitor and interpret emerging technical issues and their implications for the APAC region.
  • Implement the Group's risk management processes and procedures effectively.
