Job Title: FP&A Analyst
Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000
SUMMARY
Agile Defense, a recognized leader in the industry, is actively seeking an experienced FP&A Analyst to join our government contracting team. This role encompasses all financial functions related to project management, including budgeting, variance analysis, and comprehensive reporting for both government and commercial contracts.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and analyzing actual costs and commitments, preparing functional review presentations, and generating necessary financial deliverables for internal and external stakeholders. This role requires collaboration across Finance, Accounting, Contracts, Pricing, and Procurement teams. The position reports to the VP of FP&A and is primarily based in Northern Virginia, with remote work options available, preferably within the East Coast time zone.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Prepare monthly functional review presentations, analyze KPI metrics, and assist the VP of FP&A as needed.
· Contribute to the development of a dynamic web-based forecasting tool to streamline forecasting cycles.
· Monitor and report indirect cost performance by department, analyzing changes for MTD, YTD, and YE against forecast cycles and budgets.
· Review all indirect AP invoices for compliance with disclosure statements, ensuring Purchase Requests are established correctly with sufficient funding, and validate Project IDs and Account IDs.
· Collaborate with Accounting to validate monthly cost accruals, review detailed costs for accuracy in recording, prepare correction forms for non-labor adjustments, and coordinate with employees for required labor corrections.
· Assist the VP of FP&A in the preparation of the annual budget.
