The Opportunity
As a Float Medical Assistant, also known internally as a Flex One Medical Lab Services Specialist/Member Support Specialist, you will provide outstanding support to our patients, facilitating a critical part of their care journey with services including venipuncture and other clinical assistance. You will serve as a patient ambassador, showcasing exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to service. Your role will help eliminate barriers to care and ensure a remarkable in-office experience. You will maintain the welcoming atmosphere of our office lobby, ensuring it aligns with the One Medical brand. Additionally, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and assist Practice Coordinators, Operations Managers, or providers as needed. Our Flex Lab Services Specialists/Member Support Specialists support multiple locations within a market.
We seek a collaborative team player who excels in innovative problem-solving and can tackle diverse tasks and challenges with ease. Your expertise in specimen collection, combined with your courteous interpersonal skills, will enhance every interaction with patients at both the front desk and in the lab. You must possess strong verbal and written communication abilities, able to identify opportunities for customer-centric solutions while demonstrating empathy, focus, and compassion.
