Ready to challenge the boundaries of possibility?We are looking for candidates who possess:A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Hydrology, Water Resources, or a related fieldExperience in hydraulic and hydrological modelling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, MIKE FLOOD, InfoWorks ICM)A strong understanding of flood risk assessment, drainage systems, and river processesProficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS or QGIS)Experience in analyzing extensive datasets and creating technical reportsKnowledge of pertinent flood risk regulations, planning policies, and environmental standardsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsThe ability to effectively manage tasks and collaborate within multidisciplinary teamsYou should be self-motivated with the ability to work independently when necessary, demonstrating a strong commitment and a willingness to contribute to the team’s success.

Your Responsibilities:

As a Flood Modeller at AECOM, your key tasks will include:

  • Conducting a variety of technical and administrative tasks related to groundwater investigations and hydrological assessments.
  • Contributing to projects that encompass the broader field of hydrology and related areas, receiving regular guidance from senior professionals.
  • Analyzing hydrological and environmental data, developing models, and crafting clear, concise technical reports.
  • Monitoring and interpreting data to evaluate the effects of upstream activities, ensuring adherence to relevant permits and regulatory standards.
