- A paralegal certificate, JD, or enrollment in an ABA-accredited law school with at least one year of study completed is required.- A minimum of one year of litigation paralegal experience is essential; experience in trial settings is highly advantageous.- Familiarity with tools such as Nuix Investigate, Relativity, and other eDiscovery and document review platforms is highly desired.- Proven experience in processing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.- Strong understanding of FOIA rules and regulations, including the application of exemptions.- Basic legal knowledge is required, including the ability to cite legal motions and memoranda accurately, as well as proficiency with legal research tools like LEXIS and Westlaw.- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary, along with comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with various computer applications, including word processing and databases.

Key Skills and Attributes for Success:
- Conduct thorough searches and analyze result sets to effectively distinguish non-responsive documents from responsive ones, while also screening for privilege or FOIA exemptions.
- Redact and categorize responsive documents accurately.
- Execute legal research efficiently.
- Prepare legal documents as required.
