We are currently seeking a Forward-Deployed Data Analyst who is eager to engage with data systems and frequently travel to various African countries, including Malawi, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Nigeria, and others across the Global South.
Background
Accurate information is paramount for countries to effectively manage their health systems, especially in the context of changing foreign aid dynamics. With complete, precise, and near real-time data, health programs can optimize their efforts and enhance their impact. Capturing high-quality data affordably and on a national scale has often been a daunting challenge, until now. Our proprietary technology, ScanForm, leverages artificial intelligence to swiftly digitize handwritten data using a cost-effective smartphone. It seamlessly integrates with established health data systems like DHIS2 and OpenMRS, automating analysis and reporting functions. This results in fully digitized data collected at a fraction of the cost compared to traditional electronic methods.
We invite you to become a Forward-Deployed Data Analyst ready to tackle the challenge of collaborating with African governments to lead meaningful change using ScanForm’s advanced technology. You will work closely with ministerial officials and international organizations to create new digital health data pipelines based on ScanForm. Your role will encompass everything from initial scoping and form design to full-scale national deployment. Exceptional logical reasoning, language fluency, emotional intelligence, clear communication, and cultural sensitivity are essential for success in this role.
You will play a vital role in developing well-structured, user-friendly tools for efficient data capture. This includes standardizing identifiers for specimens, patients, diseases, diagnoses, and treatments. Additionally, you will ensure timely data capture and automatically validate data quality using advanced methodologies.
