Role overview

The Forward Deployed Engineer - Growth focuses on building and maintaining the systems that drive Maple’s revenue. This involves creating and automating lead generation pipelines, developing tools for sales teams, and running experiments to test new growth strategies. The role requires both operational execution and hands-on technical work, with every project delivering clear, measurable results.

What you will do

  • Build and automate lead pipelines across all channels to support revenue growth.
  • Create tools that help Account Executives work more efficiently.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to identify challenges and find solutions that unlock growth.
  • Keep data organized and ensure systems remain reliable.
  • Prototype, test, and launch new tools and automations.
  • Identify and develop additional systems as Maple expands. Ongoing discovery and improvement are central to this position.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in a technical, operations, or growth-focused role.
  • Interest in understanding business challenges that influence engineering work.
  • Some familiarity with, or curiosity about, modern go-to-market strategies such as cold outreach, attribution, product-led growth, partner channels, and sales development workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting data and improving processes.
  • Comfort working in an environment where priorities may shift quickly.
