About the Role
As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer (FDSE), you will engage directly with customers to swiftly comprehend their most pressing challenges and devise innovative solutions leveraging data. Our clients count on Palantir’s platforms for their vital operations, often initiating discussions with open-ended inquiries such as “What is causing our flight delays?” or “How can we enhance our detection of money laundering activities?” In this role, you'll utilize your analytical skills, creativity, and technical expertise to drive meaningful impacts within organizations. This position offers the opportunity to gain invaluable insights and contribute to significant sectors and institutions globally.
Your responsibilities will resemble those of a startup CTO: collaborating within small teams under minimal supervision and taking ownership of high-stakes projects from start to finish. A typical day may involve architectural discussions with fellow engineers, managing extensive data sets, developing custom web applications, engaging with customer executives, or strategizing for your team.
