Since our inception just over a year ago, more than 6,000 companies have placed their trust in us.To ensure fonio operates seamlessly for our clients, we require individuals who can swiftly grasp business needs and translate them into effective setups: integrations, workflows, logic, prompts, data flows, and edge cases.We are looking for a Forward Deployment Engineer who understands AI systems, thinks through workflows, and possesses solid coding skills - pragmatic, quick, and reliable.Your RoleYou will serve as the technical link between our product and customer setups. You will capture requirements, translate them into robust implementations, and ensure fonio goes live for our clients – including integrations, automations, and continuous optimizations.You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to ensure that deployments are rapid, stable, and repeatable.Your ResponsibilitiesCapture and structure customer requirements, translating them into clear implementation plans.Establish and roll out fonio setups in production (workflows, logic, data flows, prompts, guardrails).Implement integrations with third-party systems (APIs, webhooks, CRM, calendars, ticketing, payments, etc.).Develop small to medium features/glue code to accurately represent customer cases (including tests/monitoring/logging).Perform real-time debugging of calls, flows, data, and edge cases – providing quick fixes under production conditions.Standardization: create reusable templates, best practices, and deployment playbooks to make setups scalable.Provide feedback to the product team regarding pain points, feature gaps, and recurring patterns – prioritized and concrete.What Awaits YouOwnership in deployment: you will be directly responsible for ensuring setups work for our clients.Immediate, visible impact: your work will be measurable in live phone calls.Proximity to the product: you will actively influence what gets built based on real requirements.Variety: from AI logic to customer workflows, every day will be different.
