About the job
About Perfect Venue
Perfect Venue builds software that helps local restaurants and event spaces run private events and catering more efficiently. Many venues still rely on manual processes that limit their growth. Our platform gives smaller operators tools to compete with larger chains. We plan to expand beyond venues, adding services like DJs and florists in the future.
Role Overview: Founding Marketer
This is the first dedicated marketing hire at Perfect Venue. The founding marketer will shape our marketing strategy and lead execution across multiple channels. Expect to work closely with the CEO and sales team, developing our brand, generating demand, creating content, and driving product marketing. The goal: build trust with hospitality operators across the country.
Responsibilities range from optimizing current channels for revenue growth to running experiments that identify new opportunities. As Perfect Venue grows, this role can develop into a marketing leadership position.
This is a full-time, in-person role based in our San Francisco office (5 days per week).
What You'll Do
- Demand Generation: Improve inbound marketing by refining SEO, managing paid search and social campaigns, and organizing events to drive engagement at the top of the funnel.
- Brand and Positioning: Define and maintain our brand voice, visual identity, and market narrative, including our AI-driven story.
- Content and Thought Leadership: Create content that speaks to general managers, owners, and operators. Use blogs, LinkedIn, and case studies to share insights and build credibility.
- Product Marketing: Manage product positioning, lead feature launches, and provide the sales team with messaging and collateral that supports conversions.
- GTM Alignment: Work with sales to develop sequences, outbound materials, and competitive battlecards that help close deals.
Requirements
- 2-6 years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, ideally at early-stage startups that have scaled from $1M to over $20M ARR.
- Comfort with AI tools and trends. Early adoption of Open Claw and a track record of finding new ways to use AI in marketing are important.
