Role overview
The Founding Recruiter will lead hiring efforts across engineering, operations, finance, and insurance. This hands-on position involves sourcing, screening, and closing candidates, as well as improving the recruitment pipeline. The team values adaptability and moves quickly as hiring needs evolve in a growing startup environment.
What you will do
- Source and engage candidates for a range of roles
- Screen applicants and coordinate the interview process
- Close candidates by communicating Corgi's vision and negotiating offers
- Work closely with hiring managers to clarify needs and priorities
- Refine and strengthen recruitment processes as the company grows
- Adopt new tools and adapt to changing requirements
Requirements
- In-house recruiting experience at a startup
- Strong outbound sourcing skills
- Ability to close candidates and negotiate offers
- Comfort working in a high-growth, high-energy setting
- Clear communication and a solutions-oriented mindset
- Motivation to contribute actively, even during slower periods
