The Fraud Investigator (part of the Customer Protection Team) plays a crucial role in managing inbound calls from customers with active fraud alerts and account restrictions. This position involves investigating reports of fraud, discerning between legitimate and fraudulent claims using various tools and analytical skills, and identifying emerging fraud trends through data analysis. You will directly communicate with customers via phone to gather vital information needed for fraud determination on their accounts.
This role requires in-person attendance at our Denver, CO or Westlake, TX offices at least three days per week.
This position may entail working shifts on weekdays (M-F) or weekends (Sat-Sun) during our operational hours of 7 AM - 9 PM EST.

Responsibilities
- Manage inbound calls from Robinhood customers with active fraud alerts and account restrictions, resolving fraud cases by employing investigative techniques as per internal procedures and policies.
- Conduct thorough and prompt investigations on accounts flagged for fraud, including various payment methods such as ACH, Debit Card, Cryptocurrency, and Wire Transfers.
- Utilize critical thinking and pattern recognition skills to proactively identify emerging fraud trends.
- Document rationale and decisions made during investigations to maintain accurate records.
