About the job
We invite you to submit your CV in English, detailing your proficiency level in the language.
Mindrift is a dynamic platform that bridges specialized talents with project-based opportunities in artificial intelligence for top-tier technology firms. Our focus is on the assessment, testing, and enhancement of AI systems. Please note that roles are project-based and do not constitute permanent employment.
Role Overview
Each project presents distinct challenges, and contributors may:
- Devise innovative computational statistics problems that reflect authentic mathematical research workflows;
- Craft problems that necessitate Python programming for resolution (utilizing libraries such as Numpy, SciPy, and SymPy);
- Guarantee that problems are computationally demanding and not solvable manually within a reasonable timeframe (days or weeks);
- Create problems that involve complex reasoning in domains such as number theory, combinatorics, graph theory, and numerical analysis;
- Base problems on genuine research challenges or practical applications in mathematical practice;
- Validate solutions using Python and standard mathematical libraries;
- Clearly document problem statements and provide verified correct solutions.
Candidate Profile
This opportunity is ideal for statistics professionals with Python experience who are open to part-time, non-permanent roles. Preferred qualifications include:
- A degree in Statistics or a related discipline;
- Proficiency in Python for numerical validation, with familiarity in MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or any similar programming languages being acceptable;
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience, whether in applied work, research, or education;
- Strong command of written English (C1+ level);
- Professional certifications (e.g., CMME, SAS Certifications, CAP) and involvement in international or applied projects will be considered an advantage.
Application Process
Apply → Pass qualifications → Join a project → Complete assigned tasks → Receive compensation
Project Commitment
For this project, the estimated effort is approximately 10–20 hours per week during active phases, contingent on project needs. This is an estimate and not a guaranteed workload, applicable only while the project is active.
Compensation Details
Contributors can earn up to $73 per hour, contingent on their experience and contribution pace. Compensation varies by project based on scope, complexity, and required expertise. Other projects on the platform may offer differing earnings based on their specific requirements.
